GL-1800 Seat Cover Installation Instructions

IMPORTANT:  FIT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED IF YOUR SEAT HAS BEEN CUT DOWN

  1. Remove passenger backrest off of your bike. Then remove driver backrest and seat.

  2. Lay seat cover on your seat and fold the back of the cover to the front with the driver lumbar bungee cord up. Work the cover back into position at the diver lumbar area.

  3. Take the driver lumbar bungee cord that is sewed to the driver lumbar area and stretch the cord under the wings then over the top of the driver lumbar.

  4. Pull back the seat cover to the back of the seat. Take the large bungee cord and work around the seat under the passenger lumbar area.

  5. Go to the front of the seat and with both hands work cover over the front.

  6. Place seat on its side to work bungee cord under the seat evenly on both sides, pulling the seat cover toward the back of the seat.

  7. Pull passenger lumbar into place then put cover over.

  8. Install the passenger backrest cover onto the backrest while it is off the bike. Place cover face down on the table. Place backrest into the top of the cover, working the bungee cord at the bottom around the corners of the backrest. Pull the fabric at the bottom, snuggly around to the back and upward. Attach cover to pan with self-tapping screws supplied.

CLEANING AND CARE OF YOUR SEAT COVERS

  1. Clean your seat cover with a damp cloth and a velour cleaner.

  2. To protect the new look and prolong the life of your seat cover, periodically apply a product like "Scotchguard."
